Surprise Vetch Sighting

Nature gave me a lovely surprise this week—

I found vetch growing in my garden for the first time ever.

I’ve never had vetch here before. The only link?

Last year was the first time I dried and used it in my forages.

Clearly, something stuck—because here it is, popping up all on its own.

I might not have wings, but I’m feeling very much like a pollinator right now.

It’s little moments like this that remind me how connected we are to the land we forage from.
